About the Urban League of Portland Young Professionals
The Urban League of Portland Young Professionals (ULPDXYP) is a volunteer auxiliary of the Urban League of Portland that encourages young professionals from the ages 21-40ish to empower their communities and change lives through the Urban League Movement.
We provide service to the Urban League through volunteerism in areas of advocacy, civic engagement, and leadership development. Our goal is to build a pipeline of young leaders who consider Portland, Oregon their home and view the Urban League as key contributors to enhancing their personal development and professional success.
As young professionals, we strive to be power brokers in our industries and community. We work toward achieving equal opportunity and access to education, housing, healthcare, and jobs.
